Centennial Water and Sanitation District/Highlands Ranch Metro District

Centennial Water and Sanitation District’s strategy is to optimize the use of surface water. Over the past 25 years 90 percent of the water they have supplied has come from renewable river supplies. Greystone wanted to ensure their technology reflected the same ability to optimize both their time and methods to communicate across teams. Centennial Water was experiencing a difficult technology culture with disparate technology solutions separating the different entities and departments. They were in need of not just reliable and dependable IT, but an infrastructure that “flowed” between departments and made communication easier.

Utilizing Technology for Efficiency

Greystone took these challenges and turned them into opportunities by implementing new domain and email solutions, service processes, and ticketing solutions that have increased their abilities to properly communicate between various departments. This also has resulted in better response time to issues that arise and allows users to receive more communication around the status of their issues and resolutions.  Greystone also standardized network architecture and implementation across all sites.  This cleaner implementation has helped allow for better network performance.

A Cohesive System

Greystone managed a solution for inter-site connectivity and centralized internet. We Implemented a ticketing and service protocols to better address technology needs in a timely manner across the organization.

Reliable Backup

We also consolidated and virtualized infrastructure for a smaller technology footprint and faster disaster recovery response times. This included a robust backup solution and monitoring system that added crucial levels of security.
