Every summer, we here at Greystone Technology host what we like to call a team summit. It’s a fun-filled, in-person company-wide team event that allows everyone to mingle outside of the office or home.
This year, we decided on a theme for the team event venue that both of our offices from Denver, Colorado, and Santa Ana, California, can follow – indoor go-karting!
COLORADO TEAM: A DAY AT PODIUM KARTING & EVENTS
Our Colorado division hosted their team event on Friday, July 19th, at Denver’s Podium Karting & Events. Not only does this venue offer indoor go-kart racing, it also has ping pong, pool, arcade games, axe-throwing, and an eatery/bar. If you’re wondering, this isn’t our first time here. We’ve hosted a cybersecurity awareness event with partners Cyber74 and ConnectWise at this activity-filled venue last year in March. Clearly, we loved the space to come back to bring our whole team! Plus, what better way is there to hang out other than a bunch of games, drinks, and some healthy competition?
On the Southern California front, we hosted the team event last Thursday, August 15th, for the Orange County-based office at the Irvine location of K1 Speed, the world’s premier indoor go-kart racing with 100 locations worldwide. Although our SoCal-based team is familiar with the K1 Speed brand, most of us haven’t been here before (or haven’t been here for a long time). So what did we think? We definitely enjoyed it, and it was more fun than we thought! It looks like our team in Southern California would love to come back and improve our best scores in racing!
We’re happy that our team members love this company team event that we do every year. This summer team summit is one of many activities that we do here at Greystone Technology as part of our great perks and workplace culture to connect with our employees and have fun with them outside of work. We understand and prioritize the importance of a great workplace environment, and it is reflected in our five-year-running Top Workplaces title from The Denver Post, and with our new office in Orange County, California, we have already won our first award for Best Places to Work in Orange County from the Orange County Business Journal.
