Microsoft Introduces FindTime

Microsoft has launched a new add-in for Outlook, designed to make it easier to schedule meetings with colleagues in your organization if you are utilizing Office365.

How many times has your inbox been flooded with emails suggesting different times or days for a meeting you need to schedule?   This can result with each attendee wanting a different time, different day, or not responding at all until you send out the first of many meeting invites…this is where FindTime makes the process more enjoyable for all.

The idea behind FindTime is simple – you propose possible times to meet, send them to everyone you’d like to see at the meeting, and then everyone votes for the best time that works for them until a consensus is reached. Once a suitable time has been found, FindTime sends everyone a final auto-generated invite to ensure that all attendees know when to actually show up.

If you have an Office 365 account, you can add FindTime functionality to Outlook 2013, Outlook 2016 or Outlook on the Web. You can find more details on how to install and use the add-in via the FindTime site here.

Want to use this feature but don’t use Office 365?  No problem – our IT Consulting team has experience and the expertise required to ensure your migration to a more feature rich email solution that is seamless and provides the maximum value for your organization.
