This month meet: Cory Lasica
Name: Cory Lasica
What’s your role: Client Success Manager
How long have you been employed at Greystone Technology: 4 years
What made you initially want to work here, and what makes you want to stay:
“I knew a couple people that worked here at Greystone before I came and applied, and everyone just had great things to say about working at Greystone. From the culture and the people you get to work with here to the opportunities that came with being here all of that was really exciting to me and I really felt like I would be able to come in and grow in my career.”
“As far as what makes me want to stay I would have to say the people are a huge part of it. I love the people I work with. I also feel like hard work is noticed and appreciated and rewarded and that is motivating in and of itself and provides room for growth!”
Tell us about a time when you worked hard to understand a client’s unique needs and went above and beyond their expectations:
“Right when I first started here a client of ours experienced a cybersecurity incident. Understandably this is a very stressful thing for anyone to experience. I ended up staying with them late into the evening (around 10:30pm) to help them work through remediation and assure them that we could help them get through this. It was a great experience in that I was able to see just how impactful we can be for people.”
What’s the most rewarding part of your job:
“I love it when there is a situation where maybe everything is not going perfectly smooth and I am able to come in to that situation, get context, re-orient and get things back on track for the client and for us!”
When you think of Greystone’s culture, what 3 words come to mind: supportive, collaborative, fun
What are some of your hobbies outside of work: “I love a great day out taking care of my yard! I also love doing family stuff like the state fair or cider fest, greek fest, italian fest if there is live music I am there I just enjoy going to events and celebrations with my family whatever it is.”
Tell us one interesting fact about yourself: “I used to coach high school football!”
